Motion Granted for Funds for McBride Psychiatric Exam A Quincy woman charged with first degree murder in connection with a fatal car crash in August of last year has been granted funds to hire a psychiatrist. The attorney for Natasha McBride had a motion granted in Adams County Circuit Court Wednesday to hire a psychiatrist to examine McBride. McBride faces four counts of first degree murder in the death of a Rushville, Illinois woman and three of her grandchildren in a traffic crash at 4th and Broadway last August. McBride’s attorney says her behavior and statements she made before and after the fatal crash indicate her sanity could be a factor in her trial, requiring the hiring of an expert to conduct an appropriate psychiatric examination.
