Forgive my frustration at the late hour but one very effective way to not engage with families and communities is to have this conversation after midnight. And i say that respectfully. I actually sent you that information on october 16th in regards to our schools demographics, breakdown ethnicities and sro and zone area and demographic and ethnicity as well as well as income. So that actually happened. The other thing is my understanding that a Charter School can actually work within its zone without permission but i dont think thats the type of partnership we want to have. And thats something we can do. But going and doing it unilaterally was not and nor would i want to do that. The third thing here is that gateway and kip did the very same thing. Just last year and it was my understanding as well. I love kip but they were asking for something in return for the students to have preference into middle school and high school.
