Steele High School to host STEM summer camp for military kids

This summer, 75-150 children of military-connected personnel will attend a weeklong camp at Steele High School courtesy of a Department of Defense grant received by the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District.
SCUC is one of only 10 school districts across the nation, and the only district in the Southwestern region, to receive the grant, according to Dee Thomas, SCUC DOD educational activities grant director.
STEMKAMP Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics for Kids of Active Military Personnel will engage students in grades 3-8 in a host of activities during the June 7-11 camp. ....
