Land officer Mominur gets ‘National ICT Award-2020’ 305 DHAKA, Dec 12, 2020 (BSS) – Dhaka National Zonal Settlement Officer Mohammad Mominur Rashid received the ‘National Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Award-2020’ on Friday evening. He was awarded in the category of ‘e-Governance (special contribution to civil service)’ for completing land survey through online land survey software, said a press release here. State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Junaid Ahmed Palak presented the medals and certificates to the winners at the closing ceremony of a fair on December 11. On June 16, 2020, the Ministry of Lands of the government of Bangladesh received the prestigious United Nations Public Service Award-2020 in the category of ‘Development of Transparent and Accountable Government Institutions’ in recognition of the implementation of ‘e-Namjari’ initiative.
