A 28 year old man has been charged with posting content online intending to stir up racial hatred. He s the first person to face prosecution for posting allegedly criminal messages linked to the violence. Meanwhile, dozens of people are appearing in courts following the violent disorder in recent days. The worst outbreaks of violence were in belfast, plymouth, and birmingham. Nearly 400 people have been arrested after a week of violent disorder. In belfast, riot officers had stones and petrol bombs thrown at them close to a supermarket which was set alight at the weekend.
