EcoWASTE webinar to highlight circular economy
ABU DHABI, January 13, 2021 EcoWASTE, recycling, waste management and waste-to-energy platform, will host a virtual session in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Waste Management Center – Tadweer on January 19 that will address the role of waste management in the circular economy model. Entitled ‘Restoring a Focus on the Circular Economy in the Aftermath of Global Developments’, it will examine how recent world events have resulted in new attitudes to waste management, the benefits of reducing, reusing and recycling, and evolving approaches to waste. It will highlight the realistic ways in which to reduce single-use plastic and how technology will increasingly impact the decisions taken within the industry.

Abu Dhabi marched into 2021 with a heavy-duty big bang event at the Sheikh Zayed Festival. It was an unforgettable night stacked with vibrant events and food and beverages outlets to boot.
And long after the revellers had left, a handful of dedicated personnel were busy cleaning the venue. They have been at work right from the start of the party in Al Wathba. While everyone enjoyed the dances, rides, fountain and laser shows and majestic fireworks display, these bunch of cleaning personnel were always on lookout for any trash on the ground.
Ramky Enviro Engineers partners AH Investment for medical, hazardous waste treatment plant in Abu Dhabi

× Ramky Enviro Engineers Ltd (REEL) has signed a 10-year contract with Abu Dhabi Waste Management Center – Tadweer to promote sustainable waste management at the latter’s Eco Park complex in Abu Dhabi.
The project aims at managing the medical and hazardous waste in Abu Dhabi and Al Dhafra region.
Salem Al Kaabi, Director-General of Tadweer, announced that the Eco Park is set up with an investment of AED 100 million. One of the facilities is owned and operated by Al Ahlia Waste Treatment LLC, which is a joint venture of Ramky Enviro Engineers Middle East FZLLC and AH Investment Abu Dhabi.
