ABU DHABI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 05th Apr, 2021) Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics arm of the Etihad Aviation Group, has selected Rom Top Aviation Ltd as its general sales agent (GSA) for the State of Israel.
The appointment comes ahead of the 6th April launch of Etihadâs scheduled twice-weekly Abu Dhabi-Tel Aviv service and as official Israeli government figures point to rising trade with the UAE following the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two in the wake of last yearâs signing of the Abraham Accords. ....

Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics arm of the Etihad Aviation Group, has selected Rom Top Aviation Ltd as its general sales agent (GSA) for the State of Israel.
The appointment comes ahead of the April 6 launch of Etihad’s scheduled twice-weekly Abu Dhabi-Tel Aviv service and as official Israeli government figures point to rising trade with the UAE following the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two in the wake of last year’s signing of the Abraham Accords.
“The new three-and-a-half hour service will link two vibrant economic and technological centres and further facilitate trade avenues between the two nations within the region and beyond,” explained Martin Drew, Senior Vice President Sales and Cargo, Etihad Aviation Group. ....

Wizz takes advantage of UAE-Israel ties to open Abu Dhabi-Tel Aviv

Wizz Air is the latest operator to take advantage of the political agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel, with plans to serve the Abu Dhabi-Tel Aviv route.
The airline will open the connection on 12 February, through its new Middle Eastern division Wizz Air Abu Dhabi.
This division, which has four Airbus A321neos, has been established as a joint venture with holding company ADQ.
Wizz Air says the Tel Aviv service will operate four-times weekly, becoming daily from 1 March, adding that it will “create new opportunities for travelers” and “further diversify” the UAE’s tourism sector. ....

Etihad Aviation Training (EAT), located in Abu Dhabi, has signed a contract with Israir Airlines to offer Full-Flight Simulator pilot training for Israir Airlines’ Airbus A320 pilots.
Israir will dry lease EAT’s Full-Flight Simulators at the training facility, with the training conducted by Israir instructors. ....
