Poland: Farmers block border crossing with Ukraine again. Since November, Polish farmers have been protesting against cheaper competitors from Ukraine. After a break, they have resumed their border blockade – and are making several demands. The new Minister of Agriculture, Czeslaw Siekierski, had previously promised them that the government would respond to some of their demands, but that more time would be needed to implement them. Israel's Supreme Court has overturned a core element of the controversial judicial reform. A razor-thin majority of eight of the 15 judges were in favor of annulling an amendment to the law passed in July. Amendment deprived the court of the opportunity to take action against "inappropriate" decisions by the government, the prime minister or individual ministers. War in the Middle East: Journalists' Association speaks of at least 65 media representatives killed

At least 65 media representatives have died because of the war in Gaza, according to the International Press Institute. An organization from the USA assumes an even higher number. IPI: This is the largest number of journalists killed in such a short period of time in a modern war or conflict.
