THIRTEEN national roads in Northern Luzon have been declared unpassable and closed to traffic as of noon Wednesday due to the onslaught of Super Typhoon Egay.
SUPER Typhoon Egay battered the northern Philippines on Wednesday, tearing roofs off houses, toppling trees and knocking out power as thousands sheltered with neighbors or in emergency evacuation centers.
Some roads in Northern Luzon were closed to traffic due to soil collapsed as a result of the heavy rains brought by tropical typhoon “Neneng", the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) reported on Sunday, Oct. 16.
