Automated Defibrillators installed at public areas of the Al-Ahli Hospital.

Doha: Al-Ahli Hospital has recently installed Automated Defibrillators (AED) in key public areas of the facility. Arguably, Al-Ahli hospital is the first private hospital in the country to install an AED within a healthcare facility. 
By installing AEDs, Al-Ahli Hospital aims to bring the public s attention to the importance of coming forward for the resuscitation of people who collapse, without fear or hesitation. 
Deputy Chief Executive Officer & Director of Projects at Al-Ahli Hospital, and Executive Vice President of Al-Ahli Hospital, Jamal Hammad, said, We encourage such initiatives that greatly contribute to saving lives of people who suffer from cardiac arrest. It is important to have installed AEDs available at common places, so the public can learn how to use them.
