GENERAL SANTOS CITY - Three police officials here have been relieved from their posts for certain lapses in the fulfillment of their sworn duties and responsibilities. Lt. Col. Maria Joyce Birrey, the spokesperson of the Police Regional Office (PRO)-12, confirmed on Tuesday the relief of police station chiefs Maj. Abdulsalam Mamalinta Jr. of the San Isidro police station, Maj. Rommel Constantino of the Pendatun station, and Maj. Yol Hilado of Lagao station. She said the relief orders were separately issued by PRO-12 director, Brig. Gen. Alexander Tagum, following a series of surprise inspections on various police stations here in the past several days. "This is in line with the one-strike policy of the PNP (Philippine National Police)," she said in an interview.
