Dr. Abdullah al-Washmi is appointed secretary-general of the King Salman International Complex for the Arabic Language.

Saudi Minister of Culture and head of the King Salman International Complex for the Arabic Language’s broad of trustees Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farahan announced on Sunday the appointment of Dr. Abdullah Al-Washmi as secretary-general of the Complex.
Al-Washmi is tasked with implementing the Complex’s aim of serving the Arabic Language and supporting Arab language applications.
Al-Washmi boasts extensive experience as an Arabic language teacher and administrator in Arabic language organizations. He has served as the president of the Literary Club in Riyadh and as a member of a number of cultural, media and academic committees.
