Fifty-five-year-old Ram Parmar and 22-year-old Rajesh were swept away in a flooded stream while trying to save their herd of sheep from drowning in Sodvadar village.
On Monday, the state government evacuated around 80 people all of them fishermen from the Jakhau port as Biparjoy, the cyclonic storm blowing in the northeast Arabian Sea, is headed towards the port in Godiya creek on the Kutch coast.
The staff at Jakhau Marine police station left the station building; media persons asked to move to safety; only a few Coast Guard personnel were left at the port.
