Theresa may has been speaking to the president of the European Commission and the irish Prime Minister this evening, amid signs of possible progress in efforts to restart the brexit negotiations. The talks stalled on monday, after Northern Irelands Democratic Unionist Party objected to the draft plans, because of their concern over the status of the border with the irish republic.
