Among top political gladiators that returned to the fold of APC are three former governorship candidates, including son of the late former Head of State, Murtala Ramat Muhammed, Abba Riskuwa Muhammed, Saliu Sagir Takai and A.A Zaura, as well as 150 members of the Kwankwasiyya movement.

Also joining the party was the North West Chairman of the Kwankwasiyya faction of the PDP, Muhammad Abubakar Jada, as well as coordinators of Kwankwasiyya movement from Osun, Ekiti, Adamawa, Ebonyi, Kebbi and Zamfara states. ....
