Thane: 16-year-old boy drowns while swimming in lake at Diva

Diva lake, was found on Monday morning.
The boy has been identified as Aaryan Chipa, a resident of Kharvali Devi Chawl in Diva.
Thane Municipal Corporation disaster management chief,
Santosh Kadam, told Mirror Online, “The boy had gone swimming with his four other friends on Sunday. After a while, the boy suddenly got breathless and was feared to have drowned in the waters.”
“The nearby residents then alerted the rescue officials and a search operation to trace and fish out the boy from the water body was undertaken immediately,” he added. ....
