con confrontation with the armed security guard. a police-involved shooting under investigation in prince george s county. this happened on shady glen terrace in capitol heights just before 10:00 last night. officers were trying to stop a suspect in a series of violent crimes. the suspect drove off and jumped out of a car with a gun. the officer shot around three times and hit the suspect in the arm. a gun was recovered from the scene there. that officer involved is now on the standard leave for investigation. the search is on for the gunman who opened fire at a basketball court near the hamilton rec center in northwest washington. the man told police he saw two people opening his backpack while he was playing on that court around 7:00 last night. when he questioned them, one pulled the gun and took off with the bag and what witnesses say was some sort of motorized bike. no one was hurt. firefighters are imploring people to eevacuate right thousands are ignoring o ....
