Sunderland School Committee candidates to share platforms in virtual forum

SUNDERLAND The Sunderland Public Library is hosting a virtual forum on Wednesday, featuring the four candidates running for two seats on the Sunderland Elementary School Committee.
The forum will start at 7 p.m. and can be accessed via Zoom at bit.ly/3ajgqyz.
According to a library press release, the four candidates on the ballot Meghan Arquin, Alison Booth Maio, Kara Gorey and incumbent Peter Gagarin will make statements about their goals and aims for the committee, why they are running, what they hope to accomplish and why people should vote for them. Each candidate will offer a closing statement at the end. ....

The former Sunderland Public Library trustee now representing the 19 communities of the 1st Franklin District led a virtual climate change panel discussion sponsored by the library and the Sunderland Energy Committee this week.
