good morning to you. i am heather nauert. i am heather childers. it is december 27th. welcome to fox friends first. george h.w. bush s condition has worsened. marianne rafferty has more. the fever has gone up in the last few days. the 88-year-old former president was admitted sunday and is in guarded condition. the 41st president of the united states was first admitted to the hospital november 23rd for a bronchitis related cough. there was hope he would be home for christmas but he soon develop add series of set backs. he had a few low energy days and things snowballed from there. at the wrong time because of his weakened condition because of the fight of bronchitis 88 years old it adds up to a tough situation right now. george w. bush has visited his father twice. so has jeb bush. he spent the christmas day in the hospital. things are not going well but doctors remain cautiously optimistic. he s in a bad way, but the doctors believe that there is a path ....
