A Liberty Hill High School teacher has been accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old former student, according to an arrest affidavit.
Brian Miller, 41, was charged with two counts of sexual assault of a child and one count of improper relationship between educator/student. All of the the charges are second-degree felonies punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
Miller is no longer at teacher at Liberty Hill High School, according to a letter from the school district on Tuesday. Superintendent (Steven) Snell was notified of the allegations by law enforcement, met with Miller, and received his letter of resignation, the letter said.
