Boston-based Author Publishing Debut Novelette Ashley Amber grew up just outside Boston, Massachusetts and wrote her first picture book when she was 9 years old that she entered in a Reading Rainbow contest, earning a certificate from LeVar Burton. Now at age 26, Ashley is publishing her debut novelette. The Flip Side of Sad has been over 10 years in the making, an idea Ashley had at age 16. After finding the old story on her computer, she decided to rewrite and edit, turning it into the novelette coming March 30, 2021. The Flip Side of Sad centers around pop superstar James Letta on what he thinks is the worst day of his career. until he has to relive it.
