CDC looking into reports of heart inflammation among young vaccine recipients


The CDC says it has not found more cases that would be expected in the population but still recommended that healthcare providers be aware of the “potential adverse event,” adding that the complications can be caused by a variety of viruses.
The complications typically started within four days of the patients receiving the vaccine, but the CDC did not specify which vaccine specifically was causing the problems.
