It happened as he was heading to the golf course for the second round of the pga championship. He was later charged with four counts, including felony assault, seconddegree assault of an officer. According to the report, the police said scheffler refused to comply with directions and then accelerated, dragging an officer who had to be treated at the hospital for scrapes and swelling to his knee and wrist.
