FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX19) - Kentucky will soon have 156 additional vaccine sites spread throughout the state in a dramatic expansion of its vaccination infrastructure.
Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman announced the new sites [full list here] Thursday with Public Health Commissioner Dr. Steven Stack.
“There are still some gaps in that map,” Stack said, “but we are filling those in as quickly as we can.” ....

COLUMBUS, Ohio (FOX19) - As vaccinations begin in Ohioans aged 70 years and older, Ohio’s 74-year-old governor is finally slated to receive his first dose.
Gov. Mike DeWine and First Lady Fran DeWine will each receive their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine Tuesday at 10 a.m.
Ohio formally began vaccinating those 70 and older Monday.
Also Monday, Ohio officially began vaccinating K-12 school employees, though some local health departments made doses available to educators beforehand, as occurred with CPS teachers.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Prisma Health officials have just announced a new effort to help people who are 70 and older make COVID-19 vaccine appointments in person rather than online or over the phone.
This effort will begin immediately for anyone eligible to get the vaccine those in the phase 1A group.
People who are 70 and older who do not have internet access or need help scheduling a vaccine appointment can take advantage of this new service. ....
