Gopal Vittal, CEO & MD, Bharti Airtel, recently said more applications are required to be written on 5G networks which really use the benefit of this technology. “Unfortunately this is not the case, not just in India, but in no market anywhere in the world. With the exception of some private 5G networks and some B2B use cases which have modest revenue streams associated with it, fundamental use cases are still not there.”
Reliance Jio: "It is not a question of monetizing 5G. Today with 1.1 million 5G cells in India, and almost 88% of that being delivered by Jio, we are the largest 5G SA network in the world."
