You kick off this hour for us. i ll start off with a live shot in southern california of a sign at a local gas station there, and it is hard to believe not just that the national average is topping $4 a gallon and oil over $130 a barrel, or at least it reached that, but there are signs, some signs like this that regular unleaded, 6.95. while we say ok, california, far from the refineries, always see higher prices, it s not an unlikely scenario the rest of the country could see the prices soon if they stay on this track. that s right, sandra. and of course, for the biden administration, it s a political problem on several levels. one of them of course is that it will be unpopular, people will not appreciate it, they are upset about inflation anyway and they see the energy prices and shocked by them. it s going to deter people s plans and so on. ....
