. it was a good week for marriage equality. on monday a federal court struck down the same-sex marriage ban in oregon, 24 hours later a conservative judge lifted a similar ban in pennsylvania, bringing the number of states where gay couples can marry to 19. yesterday, the state of south dakota, became the 30th state in the country with a pending legal challenge to its same-sex marriage ban when six couples in that state filed a federal lawsuit. this now means that there s only one state in the entire country with an unchallenged banl on same-sex marriage and that state is north dakota. the supreme court overturned the equality the marriage has been stunning. 44% of americans now live in a state where same-sex marriage is
