Nevada s race for senate and drivers are begging for relief getting ready to head to the polls. rich edson has more on that. spending so much on gas and spending way more than six months ago or something. gas prices are crazy. you going to be voting on gas prices? oh, to reduce them, yes. reporter: drivers in nevada are spending more for a gallon of regular gas than any state in the country other than california. triple-a says at $5.53 a gallon, it s up $1.65 higher in the past year and republicans are pinning much of that on democrat s push over renewables and fossil fuels. it s a long term goal to get more renewables, that s fine. but our system is not ready for that today and we re seeing the effects of that. we have all time high gas prices here, energy prices are on the rise, nobody signed up for this. reporter: former nevada attorney general adam laxalt is ....
