Race? i think it s a decision that newt has to make. what do you think? you re very opinionated. you don t ever hold back. i think it s not as simple michael is correct. the delegate math is not as simple as if newt drops out, that increases santorum s chances because we re dealing here with a fine night number of delegates, 22086. any delegate that would have gone to newt or santorum wasn t going to go to romney anyway. the real question is, can romney get to 1144. i did more of the math again this morning. i find if santorum wins pennsylvania, it is mathematically impossible for romney to get to 1144 before june 5th. i have him going all the way to the final flaerm utah on june 26th before he can get to 1145. so i think this is more where whether or not the base wants enough of romney to let him get the nomination before the convention than what happens was newt gingrich now the rest of the way. if you were newt, i would try to find a way to make my influence ....
