(BIRMINGHAM, AL) Central Magnet School senior Rachel Alexandra Oppmann placed first in the 2024 Musical Theatre Regional Competition. The event occurred last Saturday (3/9/2024) at the Hulsey Fine Arts Center at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
The 18-year-old Murfreesboro student performed “The Party’s Over” from The Bells Are Ringing, as well as “I’m Breaking Down” from In Trousers. She also did a monologue from Stuck.
