The last day for that was this past sunday. today is it. it s primary election day and the last chance for registered democrats and registered republicans because this is a closed primary system to go ahead and weigh their voices. the only statewide elected democrat in florida is the agricultural secretary, nicky fried. she cast her ballot in tallahassee. she thinks the momentum is with her. looking at across the board, we have strength in younger votes and women votes. we know that as long as the people are voting, we re in good shape today. he primary opponent is former republican governor, charlie crist that voted in st. pete. he switched parties in 2012. despite state republicans out registering democrats this cycle, he doesn t think florida is totally red yet. ....
