Two people were hospitalized in an apartment fire in Des Moines on Thursday morning.According to Des Moines fire officials, the fire happened at an eight-plex apartment at 31stStreet and Kingman Boulevard just before 10 a.m.They say the fire started in a vacant first-floor apartment.
