MANILA - The country's total number of recovered coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases has reached 2,772,107 after 830 new recoveries were reported on Monday. In its latest case bulletin, the Department of Health (DOH) noted that recoveries account for 97.8 percent of the total case count of 2,835,154 since the start of the pandemic last year. Meanwhile, 543 new infections brought the total number of active cases nationwide to 13,548 lower than Sunday's 13,853. Monday's fresh cases are also slightly lower than 603 new infections recorded on Sunday. Among active cases, 5,545 are mild, 1,063 are asymptomatic, 676 are critical, 2,366 are severe, and 3,898 are moderate. The death toll has reached 49,499 with 113 new deaths.
