who knows? i m one of those that s kind of driving an empty tank of gas confined of waiting to see where prices will go and hopefully down. we did see a record weekend here in california, certainly in southern california with prices going up every day over the weekend hitting record after record after record. as you said, we re up to about 4.66 a gallon as of today and certainly if you drive around l.a., i can tell you you can easily find it reach if not breaking, the $5 a gallon mark. there is apparently some relief in sight. the california governor, jerry brown, just yesterday is asking the california air resources board to allow oil companies now to sell the winter grade gasoline, the release date was mandated october 31. but he s saying let s go ahead and release that earlier. it will have a negligible effect on the environment and hopefully the supply situation. also refineries here, some going back on-line, helping they re getting repaired. so we should see relief sometime ....
