Hello again. we re in the midst of the hottest spell of weather we ve seen so far this year. now, the weather was particularly extreme on saturday in northern ireland. 31.2 celsius recorded at ballywatticock in county down. that s the highest temperature we ve ever recorded in northern ireland. now, looking at the weather picture elsewhere, most of us have had skies like these. lots of sunshine around. this is the glorious peak district, of course, in the sunshine and you can see the extent of saturday s sunshine on the satellite picture, but we have seen this weak weather front pestering the far north west of scotland. that is still going to be bringing a bit of cloud on sunday and underneath that area of cloud, that s what the skies have looked like at times. so, on into the forecast for sunday. we are going to see that cloud making a little bit more inroads in across the north west of the uk and with that comes some respite from the heat. not that it s going to be cold temperature ....
