Talk about. these high gas pricesser zapping money right out of the pockets of consumers. i looked back exactly a year ago in preparation for this. back in april of 2009. jenna: 10. 10 the gas price was almost exactly a dollar cheaper. we ve seen gas prices go up from 2.80 to 3.80 a gallon and they continue to rise. it s a big problem because as you said these higher gas prices are throughout the economy right now in terms of food prices, airline prices, walmart is talking about raising their prices. the interesting thing is that the fed this week responded to obvious concerns by consumers that prices are rising too fast. here is what the fed said, what ben bernanke said. he said we are not too concerned about the inflation right now because they said, even though prices of consumer items are rising, wages are rising. ....
Surprised there s not chunks of ice in that water. no kidding. a picture from connecticut, our friend stan sent us a picture there. that is of an igloo that he built out there in connecticut. enough snow to build a structure. i saw a clip on the news where they built a two-story igloo. i forget what part of the country. but there was enough snow out there. they really got architecturally sound and creative stan is smart. he put a sign that says, private property, because that will protect them from the wind over there in connecticut. and then our favorite of the morning. glenn just wanted us to be jealous of what things are like in florida. he sent us this picture which we think are his wife s toes. not totally sure. they look a little painted. interesting angle. probably some mai tais. or margaritas right next to glenn. we are jealous of you folks in florida. until hurricane season. that s the way i look at it. we all gotta deal with something. june s coming around the cor ....
