the best part of the job is coming to places like this, right here in iowa where you can talk to everybody and everyday americans. there s plenty of fear and anger right here in america s heartland and indeed across the country right now. i sat down with the president just a little while ago for an in depth interview about job, the economy, the 2012 campaign. the war on terror and a lot more. specific about the short-term plans for boosting the economy and how it could make or break his reelection campaign. you said if you don t turn around the economy in three years it s going to be a one-term proposition. do you remember that? when i came into office, i knew i was going to have a big mess to clean up. and frankly, the mess has been bigger than i think a lot of people anticipated at the time. we have made steady progress on these fronts, but we re not making progress fast enough. and what i continue to believe is that ultimately the buck stops with me. a lot of these p
