MANILA - The Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday reported 36,763 recoveries and 29,828 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infections. The latest Covid-19 bulletin indicated 273,580 active cases while total recoveries rose to 3,090,164, or 90.4 percent of 3,417,216 infections since the pandemic started in March 2020. Out of the active cases, 260,399 are mild, 3,006 are moderate, 8,371 are asymptomatic, 1,496 are severe, and 308 are critical. "Of the 29,828 reported cases today, 29,237 (98 percent) occurred within the recent 14 days Jan. 10 to Jan. 23, 2022," the DOH reported. Among the active cases, 267,185 are mild, 2,925 are moderate, 8,928 are asymptomatic, 1,472 are severe, and 303 are critical.
