It will be played at SeatGeek Stadium, 7000 S. Harlem Ave., Bridgeview, Ill. The game will be played against Racing Louisville Football Club based in Louisville, Ky. The team is offering a Pride Pack ticket with a portion of the proceeds being donated to Howard Brown Health. The Pride Pack Fabulous Package will include one game ticket, one t-shirt, and one parking pass. Seats sell for $50 and $60 depending on stadium area. ....
Tiara Banks’ tragic death is the 16th violent death of a transgender or non-binary person to occur this year. Banks was killed on April 21 in the West Pullman neighbourhood of Chicago on Wednesday, according to the Human Rights Campaign. Tiara was attacked in her Ford Fusion when a shooter approached the vehicle and shot her multiple times. The 24-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. Howard Brown Health, a community-based LGBTQ+ health organisation based in Chicago, announced the news of Tiara’s death online. The midwest health centre shared a heartfelt message in honour of Tiara and called for an end to the “epidemic of anti-trans violence”. ....
