New Chapter Court plans lodged as long awaited town centre regeneration development progresses

New Chapter Court plans lodged as long awaited town centre regeneration development progresses A new chapter could soon begin in Wrexham town centre after ambitious plans to create a new retail and leisure facility have progressed further. The ‘Chapter Court’ scheme proposes the redevelopment of the block of shops in the Argyle Street, Queens Square, Queens Street and Hope Street area. Described by the applicants as a “micro retail and micro food court”, the development aims to “attract national high street retailers back to the original end of town and attract smaller, more independent local businesses.” It is hoped the space will also become home to the the “‘go-to’ places to eat and drink and with the development of the court yard that can host year round events will offer customers a new, cultural shopping and leisure experience giving them a reason for return visits.”
