Police are investigating a truck crash on the Harvey Range Road last night.
Early information suggests at around 8.30, the driver of the truck rounded a bend and was unable to stop before entering flood waters covering the road at Dotswood.
The truck was washed off the road and two men escaped the submerged cab and climbed a nearby tree.
The men were rescued by Townsville Water Police and emergency services.
They were not injured.
The truck remains at the scene until is it safer to remove it, by daylight.
