American sitcom 3rd Rock from the Sun aired from 1996-2001 and followed three aliens on a trip to Earth, the third planet from the sun.
They consider the Earth to be an insignificant planet and pose as a human family in Ohio in order to study human behaviour reporting to an unseen boss named Big Giant Head, who was eventually revealed to take the form of William Shatner.
The much-loved show launched the careers of stars including Joseph Gordon-Levitt and John Lithgow and in 1997 it won the most Primetime Emmy Awards for a TV show with five wins and eight nominations.

David Thompson, who has died aged 84, was a Smithfield meat trader turned takeover tycoon who became an influential figure in racing as the owner of Newmarket’s historic Cheveley Park Stud.
Thompson’s master company, Hillsdown Holdings, was a hot stock of the 1980s boom years, expanding at breathless pace to become Britain’s largest producer of eggs, meat and canned foods, including own-label products for supermarket chains, in addition to interests in timber, furniture, stationery and property. Best known for its poultry interests, Hillsdown offered everything from breeder hens for egg producers to frozen Chicken Kievs.
After floating in 1985, Hillsdown completed more than 40 acquisitions in two years – usually buying undervalued businesses on friendly terms and allowing them to continue operating under their own names. A rare venture into the contested takeover arena was an unsuccessful £500 million bid in 1986 for the commodity trader S & W Berisford.

Kitty Martin Wines, aka Vickey Broughton, age 62, of Chinook MT, passed away Dec 10, 2020 after diagnosed with COVID. Kitty was born May 13th, 1958, to Ruth Solomon and Gene Broughton in Long Beach, CA. In 1969, Ruth moved her four children to Havre MT to raise her family on the ranch that was left to Ruth and her brother Ted after their father passed. Being raised on the ranch south of Havre is where Kitty found her passion and love for horses and the outdoors. While still in high school, Kitty even broke two of her own horses with the help of the hired hand Bill Hinkle.
