03.08.21 Get-Together Ceremony with Citizens and Residents
His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam graced a Get-Together Ceremony with citizens and residents in Belait District in conjunction with His Majesty s 75th birthday celebration. The event took place yesterday morning at Padang Bandaran in Kuala Belait. Belait District was the final district to hold the ceremony.
Hundreds of students lined up the route waving miniature Brunei Darussalam flags to welcome His Majesty.
The beating of the hadrah and bunga manggar carried by primary and secondary school students enlivened the monarch s arrival.
