TROUBLE-PRONE Norton legislator Temba Mliswa was Friday arrested again for allegedly violating Covid-19 regulations.
The incident happened at the legislator’s Spring Farm in Karoi where he had gathered some youths.
News of his arrest was revealed by the independent legislator through his twitter handle, saying this was his 78th time.
“The persecution continues!! I’ve been arrested again for the 78
th time! This time at my Spring Farm, Karoi where I was approached for a venue to host a Govt youth, agricultural initiative. The programme is being carried out throughout the districts and Spring Farm was selected in Hurungwe District,” he said.

ZIMBABWE – In a rather tragic development, a four-year-old boy died on the spot after he was hit by a haulage truck.
Faceofmalawi has established that Roland Chimunyuko who was coming from Sierra Village with his mother(name not supplied) was hit by a haulage truck after he bolted from his mother while they were waiting to cross the busy Harare-Chirundu highway in Nyamakate, Hurungwe District.
Officer commanding police in Kariba district Superintendent Saul Mhanqwa confirmed the tragic incident which happened at the 267 km peg along the Harare-Chirundu highway to The Herald.
On the day when the incident happened, whilst they were waiting to cross, Roland is alleged to have loosed himself from his motherâs grip and ran into the road.

The upsurge of COVID 19 local infections is worrisome to everyone as right to health remains at stake after festive season.
What compounds the global pandemic is how it has claimed several thousand deaths mostly in developed countries whose medical prowess does not match mostly underdeveloped nations including Zimbabwe.
Worse still for Hurungwe district, within Mashonaland West that has poor outlying health facilities affected by long distancing, lack of water, availability of reliable and accurate information is a nightmare. Recently, spread of accurate information became better ammunition to empower communities as the spread of COVID- 19 like elsewhere is a thorn in the flesh.
