Bengluru, February 16: Elimination Chamber 2021 match card went through some major changes as witnessed on this week’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw. It seems the Raw Women s Championship match is bound to change as the challenger of the match announced that she is pregnant with her second child.
Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce were competing against Asuka and Charlotte Flair on Raw in a tag team match. Evans avoided any sort of physical confrontation in the match until the very end, before walking away even after making a tag with Royce.
WWE SmackDown Elimination Chamber Participants Revealed
Just four days after it was revealed that Drew McIntyre will defend the WWE Championship inside the Elimination Chamber at the PPV of the same name, SmackDown opened with a tease that Roman Reigns would have to do the same thing with the Universal Championship. However, after a segment between Reigns, Paul Heyman, and Adam Pearce, the idea was changed to a Chamber match determining a number one contender who would then immediately face Reigns at the PPV in a championship match, on the same night. Heyman told Pearce that Reigns contract says that he will defend his title at the PPV but that it doesn t say he will defend it inside the Chamber.
After Roman Reigns revealed that he would defend his Universal Title against the winner of the Elimination Chamber Match rather than inside the structure, six Chamber combatants were established and ended up in a brawl as SmackDown went off the air.
Plus, Apollo Crews ruined an Intercontinental Championship Open Challenge Match between Big E and Shinsuke Nakamura, and Seth Rollins returned to the blue brand in chaotic fashion.
