There are heavy delays on the A14 and A11 after a collision involving a number of vehicles this afternoon (Wednesday, April 28).
A multi-vehicle accident has closed one lane of the A14 heading eastbound towards Newmarket between junction 35 near Stow-cum-Quy and junction 36 with the A11 at Nine Mile Hill.

There were heavy delays on the A14 and A11 after a collision involving a number of vehicles on Wednesday afternoon (April 28).
A multi-vehicle accident closed one lane of the A14 heading eastbound towards Newmarket between junction 35 near Stow-cum-Quy and junction 36 with the A11 at Nine Mile Hill.
Traffic built behind the accident, with congestion also spreading back to the A11 heading northbound. Queues were estimated at around four miles behind the scene of the accident.
A travel time of around 45 minutes was being estimated to pass the affected area.
