ORLANDO – Attendees at this year’s Cheez-It Bowl and Vrbo Citrus Bowl enjoyed the action knowing that Camping World Stadium was ready for gameday thanks to a comprehensive health, safety and sanitation plan built in collaboration with local partners including AdventHealth and Massey Services.
As part of its reopening protocol, Florida Citrus Sports and Orlando Venues leadership worked closely with AdventHealth physicians to develop guidelines intended to keep participants, fans, volunteers and staff protected at the facility, which recently received Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR Facility Accreditation – the ‘gold standard’ for safe facilities.
Proven, effective protocols will be place from entry to exit, including the continued use facial coverings when not eating or drinking, proper physical distancing and encouraged hand sanitization, with touchless sanitizing stations easily accessible throughout the facility.

Hogan points to the NBA and MLS bubbles at Disney as some of the proof of Orlando’s success when it comes to showing sports safely.
“I think these bowl games, although an economic impact will be felt, the broadcast to the country about how Orlando is safely open for business,” he said. “I think it is a powerful message.”
Attendees must buy their tickets in groups of two or four to maintain social distancing.

The house on Fowler Street was a huge three-story Victorian terrace just off Breck Road and nearer to Anfield than Goodison Park It belonged to my grandparents, who d lived there throughout the war and it was always full of people and cousins and noise. The cellar had been the bombshelter during the blitz and there was a big grid over the front step so you could escape if the house was hit. My mum was one of eight so at one time there were 11 of us living there. It was great fun.
