WILTON The town’s COVID-19 vaccination rates per age group are higher than the state’s averages, according to the most recent data from the state Department of Public Health, and First Selectwoman Lynne Vanderslice said demand “just hasn’t been there” to continue weekly town clinics.

STAMFORD Stamford Health will close its South End “vaccine supersite” on July 23, officially marking the end of the mass vaccination era in Stamford.
The hospital attributed its decision to “high vaccination rates” in the community and “the availability of multiple other decentralized locations for vaccination.” Stamford’s other mass vaccination site, run by Community Health Centers, closed on June 30.
