Had everything gone according to plan, director Lanise Antoine Shelley would be in previews for a revival of Rabbit Hole this week at Aurora s Copley Theatre. The multihyphenate actress/writer/director/artist was to direct David Lindsay-Abaire s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama as part of Paramount Theatre s inaugural Copley series.

A woman from Kenora has won the Lake of the Woods Hospital Foundation’s 50/50 draw in December.
Shannon Cameron, who is originally from the Wabaseemoong First Nation, won the Foundations largest draw ever of over 186 thousand dollars.
She says she’ll pay off her debts and share some of the winnings with her family.
Cameron admits she can’t process the win just yet.

Shannon Cameron said she was shaking upon learning that she had won the largest-ever Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation 50/50 jackpot on Wednesday.
Cameron, originally from Wabaseemoong Independent Nation and currently living in Kenora, took home $186,335 with her number of E-4720723.

“This win means a whole lot to me, I can be out of debt, I can help my family, that’s the main thing,” Cameron said in a news release. “Other than that, I can’t even process this whole thing right now.
