Vellore Institute of Technology has started examination slot booking for the Vellore Institute of Technology entrance exam, VITEEE 2021. Candidates who are to appear for the VITEEE 2021 can book their slot from the official website of VITEEE, i.e., viteee.vit.ac.in.
The VITEEE 2021 slot booking for students will be open till May 21. VITEEE 2021 made four slots per day for their mock test and actual exam. Students can visit the official page of the Vellore Institute of Technology to book their examination slots.

VITEEE 2021 will be conducted onine on May 28, 29, and 31 due to Covid-19 outbreak. Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Engineering Entrance Exam VITEEE 2021 mock test will be conducted on May 20. The university will soon reveal further details via email or official website.
VITEEE 21 was earlier scheduled to be conducted in June as a Computer Based Test (CBT), and students would be asked to appear at the exam centres. However, due to the Covid19 outbreak, authorities have decided to conduct an exam online. Students will appear for it from their homes and will be invigilated by exam officials online.

The Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology has announced the annual Tamil Nadu Scientist Awards (TANSA) for 2019 under the various Science categories.
Three professors from the University of Madras have been chosen for the awards in the mathematical, physical and medical sciences categories.
R. Ravanan, joint director of Collegiate Education, Chennai region, has been selected for the award under mathematical sciences. An alumnus of Presidency College he also served as professor in the statistics department of the college, which is affiliated to the University of Madras.
